Size Guide

These size guides will help you fit your baby, child, youth or teenager for West End Kids clothing and kids outerwear. We specialize in fitting hard-to-fit kids, including husky and slim sizes, and our charts take that into consideration.

We also accept Special Orders and can provide service to kids with disabilities.

Finding Your Size

Please take the time to measure yourself when ordering online or by phone, mail, or fax. The measurements shown for each size refer to body dimensions.

Arms (A)
Bend elbow gently, then measure from centre of back of neck out to point of shoulder, down to back of elbow, and forward to wrist.

Chest / Bust (B)
Measure fullest circumference, keeping tape up under arms and across shoulder blades.

Hand (C)
(Knuckle circumference) Measure around a flat hand at knuckles, do not include thumb. Also measure hand length from the base of palm to end of middle finger. Use the larger of the two measurements to select your glove size.

Head (D)
Measure circumference above brow ridges and above ears.

Height (E)
Stand with back straight; measure from highest point on head to floor.

Hips (F)
Stand with feet together and measure at fullest circumference.

Inseam (G)
Measure inner leg from crotch to below the ankle bone.

Neck (H)
Measure circumference at base of neck.

Waist (J)
Measure at narrowest circumference.

Tall Sizes
Add 2in. or 5cm to inseam, arms, and the overall length.

Petite Sizes
Subtract 1.5in. or 4cm from inseam, arms, and the overall length.

Kids' Sizing
Please take the time to measure your child, rather than relying on their age for sizing.
